Chicken Soup is not a single book; it is a series ... so you have chicken soup for singles, soul, parent, student ... etc. I have a few of them but haven't started reading them yet ... I would recommend you read something for John gray; the one who wrote "Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus" .. very interesting series. For pure self improvement; go for Stephen Covey, the one who wrote "The 7 habits of highly effective people", "The 8th Habit", "First things first" and many others. I will revert to my home library and get back to you with more titles ... :) Well ..
